Project Scope
- Construct to MMCD Specifications;
- Stripping and site grading to prepare site for building construction;
- Excavate building footprint and detailed grade beam excavation; backfill for slab on grade construction;
- Backfill perimeter of building after foundation and basement installation completed;
- Installation of 375 m of 200 mm – 375 mm storm sewer c/w 14 manholes, headwalls and catch basins;
- Installation of 16 m of 200 mm sanitary c/w manhole, tie-in to sanitary main;
- Install 70 m of 150 mm water line and 1 Fire Hydrant, tie into City water main;
- Installation of 430 m of electrical conduits;
- Installation of BCH and TELUS service lines;
- Excavation and backfill of an underground stormwater storage system;
- Installation of concrete retaining wall; and,
- Complete road subgrade construction c/w granular hauling and compaction, geosynthetic placement, pavement, curbs and sidewalks
Roles & Responsibilities
- Preconstruction meeting with the Unitech, Urban Systems and The City of Fort St. John;
- Weekly meetings and progress updates;
- Updates when required to Unitech, Urban Systems and, if applicable, the City of Fort St. John regarding technical or site issues or discrepancies encountered. Solutions provided as options when applicable;
- Submit RFI’s for clarification and to streamline project scopes if applicable;
- Change order notifications due to COVID19 supply constraints;
- Coordination of subcontractors to complete project works;
- Coordination with onsite trades for site access to complete works;
- Coordination of third-party utilities such as BC Hydro, Pacific Northern Gas, TELUS, etc.;
