Project Scope
- Site Preparation, stripping and removing excess materials offsite
- Materials required for building/footing backfill to be stockpiled onsite
- Building Earthworks
- Bulk building excavation and offsite disposal of surplus material
- Detailed pad and strip footing foundation excavation
- Backfilling of foundation with common/native material
- Slab on grade preparation including supply of 19 mm crush and 6 mil polyethylene sheeting
- Site Earthworks
- Parkade ramp excavation and offsite disposal
- Ramp preparation including subgrade, 19 mm crush and 6 mil polyethylene sheeting prep
- Subgrade and sub-base preparation for exterior building parking lot area
- Underground utilities
- Water servicing and hydrant, sanitary sewer servicing
- Storm sewer piping, concrete box culverts and associated manholes
- Storm sewer flow control device and oil grit separator supply and installation
- Tie-ins to existing utilities and backfill to original condition included.
- 150 mm thick base gravel installed and prepped for curb, gutter and asphalt
Roles & Responsibilities
- Pre-Construction meeting
- Construct to engineer and owner design
- Weekly meetings and progress updates
- Updates when required to the Owner regarding technical or site issues or discrepancies encountered, provide solutions if required
- Quality management updates and quality control check sheets of construction progress and material installs
- Coordination of subcontractors to complete project works
