Project Scope

  • Site preparation, stripping materials and trenching.
  • Installation of Sani and water lines, manholes, catch basin, and valving within trenches up to 7m in depth.
  • Tie in with new and existing services.
  • Backfilling materials.
  • Compaction of material and testing.
  • Finish grades with soil and seeding.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Preconstruction meeting with the Owner & Field Engineer;
  • Weekly meetings and progress updates;
  • Updates when required to the Owner regarding technical or site issues or discrepancies encountered. Solutions provided as options when applicable;
  • Diligently coordinating deliveries and supply orders due to lack of specialty support in Whitehorse area;
  • Quality management updates of construction progress and material installs;
  • Coordination of subcontractors to complete project works;
  • Coordination of third-party utilities;
  • Interface with other subtrades on site;
  • Site inspections with the Owner and Field Engineer; and,
  • Final walk through and completion of deficiencies in a timely manner.
